this is the film that almost bankrupted Bob Guccione.....Malcom McDowalls scenes were shot separately and he was under the impression it was a legitimate historical drama......when he saw the finished product he sued to try to have his name and all his scenes removed.......its almost painful to watch....absolute garbage!
